Travel, Cars, & a Birthday!
A little snow on the ground, and the world is a nicer place!
...unless you're driving!
Now I'm sure those of you who live in the interior of B.C., or who may be ski fanatics, won't think this is much snow at all...
However, this seems treacherous enough to those driving alongside Cameron Lake!
And where were they going? Well, this looks like Burnaby or Coquitlam, based on what look like some familiar mountains in the background of the next picture.

And this must be the van Deursens!
Time for a cozy breakfast! L-R, Mr., Marian, Mrs., and dad!
Mr. van Deursen always liked having an old roll-top desk. I'm not sure why I remember that detail... That's John van Deursen beside mom in the foreground.
"No, no, remember from the good old days in the logging camp, that was a bathroom, not a storage closet! ...you can tell by the size of the bucket..."
And on the way, they paid a visit to John, studying at UBC. ...Uhhh.. STUDYING!
...That's better! John studying at UBC! According to John, this is a room in the Totem Park residence. (Nice to see another fine sound system!)
