Getting Older

It's many years later, and Marion is managing trees on her own, now. This is a cedar tree, not the old fir tree behind the house.
Sproat Lake, further west along the shore... "Hey, when you've raised 6 kids, you'll have muscles like this, too!"
Another trip to Long Beach!
We seem to be feeding a bluejay, with leftover bread. Six kids, and there's leftover bread???
This is the north end of Chesterman Beach. Cars were allowed on the beaches, as was beach camping. It got pretty busy at Long Beach for a while...
Success! That was a Corvette doing the pulling... The VW van in the picture is a "window" van, so it's not the Huysmans' vehicle.
