Getting Older
This looks like the campsite at Cowichan Lake. Mom on the left, washing her hair? Who is on the right watching the camera, Doreen was not there...
This must be the campsite at Cowichan lake! Take a look at the 2 islands behind the paddlers. (Ken, Marion, and John)
This is where we were...
It was a long way down the lake. (Southern Vancouver Island)
We put various driftwood pieces together to make a diving platform. We even had Dad install a convenient tin can beside the diving board to hold all our glasses!
...Only to discover that the diving board moved, and it knocked the can, and the glasses overboard. ...only 1 pair were found... John is paddling with an old 1 by 4 that we had carved handle areas into.
A log along the beach. Marion in the middle, Mom below, and Jim seated up on the right. That might be Don beside Jim. Without his glasses? ...even mom can't tell...
Dad drove us back to Port Alberni along the old logging roads, and this was found along one of the creeks! So Dad took a break from driving...
And here's Doreen practicing "sultry". There seems to be a serious cut on the side of her head, and red stains in her hair. If this is just a mark on the pic, let me know, I'll remove it...
