The sun was beginning to brighten things up a bit now, as we made our way back along the wide entryway.
The manicured trees, and the colours. So many pictures, and the light could be better...
And here we are, back under the entry torii. Proper manners dictate a bow as you pass under the gate.
The temple grounds date back a long way. So do the souvenier shops and eateries along the old approach road!

My imagned converstion: "No Mom, I'm fine, this is what I want to do! Please stop asking me to come back to the rice farm!"
The darker carving is a dragon, best viewed from the other side. I liked the lighter carving, and the inclusion of the rocks.
