Great Shrine Tourism

We all wandered seperately and had agreed on a meetup time later. Yuko and I went for a riverside bakery and cafe.

Not only are the shores reinforced with big rocks, but so is the bottom!

"If you see Marion, can you tell her "Hi", from me?"

A fish shop, complete with glass floats!

Can you spot the missing bonsai? Neither can I. The tags I can read, say "Apple Y 4800", on two of the flowering trees.

The local Post Office, and it's still in character!

No back alleys here, just a well built drainage channel.

More temptation for Yuko: lots of fabric bits, and straps and things...

A pearl shop. Not surprising, as we are also near the birthplace of the cultured pearl industry.

"...hang on, just checking how much gas is left..."

Then it was time for the bus to our next destination, which was about 20 km away. Here is where the luggage transfer really made life easier.
