A Port Alberni Visit.
Ha! Not likely. First I have to climb the rocks at the shore and take a look at the waves!

I recognize this place!
On the drive back to Port Alberni. The hiway alternated between closed and open every 2 hours. Serious rock work at the Kennedy Lake hill.
So, still busy helping with mom, the next day I went to Parkesville. ...Apparently more people come out when it's not raining...
Oh My Gosh!!! Crowds! And on my beach! (not shown: there is a lot of renovation work being done at the kids playground)
You know where this is, right? No? Well, it's on Cameron Lake, just west of Angel Rock. (the Port Alberni side)
The lake was perfectly calm.
I don't think I've ever stopped here, and I don't think I have any pictures of Cameron Lake, either.
Ok, Ok, yes, now I do have pictures of Cameron Lake... That's Angel Rock in the distant notch.
Wind storms have been here, too...
Such a picturesque location, and I've never thought to check it before. Usually it's "zoom on by" in a hurry to somewhere else.
