The Gardens.


My first ever visit... Yuko has been before. She thought it would be appropriate to treat the resident as the tourist...



Ho Hum. You see one garden, you've seen them all...



This bronze statue is near the entrance, I presume it's to honour all the boared visitors...



...so we had some lunch, instead.



Just kidding! I was curious to see what all the fuss was about...



The various plantings were well seperated, and for the most part the colours were well harmonized.



It must still be early, since no one was in the pool yet...



In the old quarry region, the path wandered around, and gave reasonable sightlines at every bend.



In case you didn't see them on the way through, you could get an upper view on the way back!



The purple and white go well together, but not so much with the other colours around them. They were isolated for a reason...



They made good use of the existing rocks, and here created a kind of lava flow down the little mountain.



Very enthusiastic reds. The plants actually look like houseplants...
