Truck overhaul!
Finally, I got the 4.3L V6 Fuel injected engine and automatic transmission (and transfer case, not in the pic) removed. This engine generates almost 2x the power of the other engine.
Some of the severe rusting that is rapidly consuming the silver truck...
The 4.3L's transmission back from a much needed major servicing, and an overhaul with much stronger parts, and the quicker shift system from a Corvette.
Here is a boring wiring picture. I transferred this from the silver truck as the original Mitsubishi wiring included just the 2 white connectors,
but I wanted my modified wiring since I had blended in the trailer wires, a back light, and a fuel pump power line as well. More work, but a much tidier finished product.
Here is another issue that needed to be dealt with. The interior heater was leaking in the silver truck,
but fortunately the little radiator from the gold truck was still OK, so I exchanged them within the controller box from
the silver truck. I actually have another spare on hand, just in case...
