Truck overhaul!
This is an extra fusebox that I had put into the engine area. It holds the fuses and relays for the re-wired
systems like the headlights, air horns, trailer power, etc. In order to transfer the large front wiring harness, I needed to label and remove most of these wires
from this box...
The large front wiring harness completely removed from the silver truck, and now laying on the floor of the gold truck. Ugh, what a mess!
I threaded the exterior part of the wiring out into the engine area, and re-installed that extra fuse box, which you can
see here with the big yellow power supply cable going up to it. All the wiring for the lights, etc, is now hidden by the other components here.
The shifters, underlay, carpet, airboxes, and major interior wiring are all installed now. That mess of red wires will be inside the dash, which goes back in soon.
After 3 weeks, the silver truck is getting emptier. The steering wheel, ignition, turn signal, and wiper controls
will also be transferred between trucks. The locks on the gold truck don't work as smoothly as they do on the silver truck, so the locks will all be swapped over as well.
Not much left here either, just the exhaust and the locking differentials to be switched over.
