After saying good-bye to Saeko, who had to get back to work, we crossed the valley
and followed the trail to the nearby Jakko-In.
This is a smaller location, though still very serene and beautiful.
This is a recently re-built copy of the original, and yes, you guessed it,
arson again. The original had survived here for ~600 years, untouched.
We stopped at one of the shops along the access road, which were just recovering from
the loss of the original temple (and the traffic it generated!). This one featured an outdoor hot-tub for your feet,
a cappacino / latte bar, and a paint-your-own-pottery shop all in one!
