House Painting, a Hole in the Ground, and a Gulf Island...

...but first... This looks like Tante Sjaan relaxing in the Okanagan.

And here's the RCMP trained horses, turning the corner at tenth and Roger.

...Making sure he hasn't lost anyone... Guys in foreground: "Did you do this horse ride thing during training?" "Nope." "...Me neither.." "Was it the smell?" "...saddle sores..."

Full points to the horses, they remembered their dance routine!

And full points to the riders: none fell off!

John: "No, seriously, painting is just so much fun, and I can only let a few select, talented individuals, enjoy that opportunity.."

Mom, taking picture: "It's not going to work, John, I'm sure they've heard that one before!"

"Are you sure?" "Yes, yes, keep going. Dad missed a lot of places there, and he's never insulted when someone has to re-do his painting! Honest!"

So. Who knows where this is?

"Oh!! I know, I know!!" ...does anyone else know... Please? "Hey, pick me, pick me!!"

...sigh. Ok, you in front, where is it. "That's Utah mines on north Vancouver Island, on Rupert Inlet! I been there, too!" Yup, and it was the 3rd largest copper mine in Canada.

I wanted a more recent look, so I got a really tall ladder: And apparently, even though it's now full of water, there's plans to re-open...

"Oh, I don't know, Mabel, I still don't think they're right for the Volkswagen. Oh well, if you insist, let's go back to Canadian Tire, they were cheaper."
