Mountains, Edmonton, Oma!


And all too soon, it was time to hit the road once more. A relaxing camping holiday!



I can tell that this is not Long Beach! ...it's not raining...



The scenic wildlife! Mountain goats coming down to the roadside saltlick? (The roads cut through the soil, and expose the salt)



The scenic wildlife! A black bear running away! It must have tried to take mom's lunch, so she chased it away with a wooden spoon...



The scenic wildlife! All those lobsters boiling in the pot! ...and there's even a view point!



I vaguely recall touring this area a few years after this picture, and there were several older hotels/hotsprings being torn down...



Mt Robson! The tallest, most hidden-in-the-cloudest mountain!



The Horseshoe bay ferry, and they are almost back home. I note, with some concern, that they did not stop to visit anyone in Vancouver...



Hey! Oma's here, and she gets to be in one of the contractually-obligated grandchildren pictures!



Meanwhile, at the Robertson Creek Salmon Hatchery: "No no, Corrie, that one's an Oncorhynchus tshawytscha. That other one's the Oncorhryncus kisutch..."
