Four Weddings, & Oma!

Did you know that Dad was contractually obligated to include pictures of his grandchildren? Oh. You did...

I don't know who this is, but it does look a bit like Sproat Lake...

This doesn't look like Port Alberni, and I don't know who they are...
According to mom: The couple with the suitcase are Joop & Afra v.d. Steen. They came from Limmen for a vacation in Port Alberni. We went to school with them.
He owned a garage and car dealership, so a couple of times we rented a car from him when we were in Holland.

I think this is a picture of Mom's, but, it might be a picture of the old apple tree in the back yard...

"aaaahh, wasn't she so cute!"

And here she is, all growed up, and still working the cuteness! (Marion, I accept e-transfer...)

This looks like Port Alberni during that hot dry summer. Wow, it got so hot that year. The whole island almost looked like the Okanagan.

And it got even hotter: Sproat Lake has even dried up! Wow!

So here is Mom and Dad's Boler trailer, and they are having a tug-of-war with that tow truck!

Uh oh, it looks like the tow truck got the wheels!
According to mom: I remember the problem with the Boler, I believe it was a broken axle, could that be? It happened in Princeton and we had to stay at the garage there.
We still slept in the Boler though that night.

Repeat after me: Contractually obligated.
