Mom & Dad: Off to Holland!
Mom and Dad took a solo trip, leaving the house in the care of Doreen & Don. (Risky move there, parents...)
They had a welcoming committee!

Tante Riet and Ome Piet's kids. Mom and dad were babysitting briefly.

And this looks like the farewells have began!
And here's they are, back in Port Alberni! ...Don was supposed to go to a dance with his new girlfriend that evening. He had to cancel. So, she found a new boyfriend... sigh.
