The Ashikaga Flower Park
The Ashikaga Flower Park was in full display!
The term "flower park" might be a bit misleading, as it is first and foremost a wisteria garden.
And the wisteria were just coming to their peak!
There were other flowers, of course, but the wisteria were the obvious feature. Lucky for us the weather wasn't too good, or it would have been jammed with visitors!
The park was set up to offer a variety of views.
And it spread out a bit up the hill behind.
This white wisteria walkway was busy!
But the lavender colours looked better! (...my opinion...)
As we saw along most of this trip, azaleas do well here!
The wisteria curtain!
