The Shirakawa Springs
The Shirakawa Springs are in the southern area of the caldera, and are the source of very pure water.
These springs encourage you to collect the water here!
You can buy these large bottles, which have snap-on sealing scew caps, for "take away"!
...Sampling is encouraged!
The park area is small, so we followed the path for a bit.
After climbing what appeared to be an unused trail, we found a perfect cup of coffee in this little coffee shop!
This is one of the better looking rhodos I had seen so far. Azaleas do extremely well here, but rhodos not so much.
On the return walking path, I saw a side path going behind the entry building and relatively unmarked
And it lead to thsi very large crystal shop!
Some rather expensive items were availble.
