The Soggy Ski Trip

Mid-January, and the temperature was well above freezing...

However, as long as the sky was blue, it looked like the skiing would still be good...

Unfortunately, visibility was not too good on the days we were skiing, so no on-hill vistas.

Instead, we explored the Whistler Creekside village for a change of scenery. This is the location of the original Whistler base.

The snow levels were low, and a lot of the mountain was visible through the snow.

It is quite unusual to be in the main Whistler/Blackcomb village, and not see snow everywhere at this time of the year!

It was a good opportunity to get in some latte research. This shop had their own names for their coffee drinks!

Also a good chance to get in some people watching... Or is that Tigger watching? (Mom, can I ski in my pajamas, too?)

...waiting for the weather to improve...

Jackets? We don't need jackets!
