A Victoria Getaway
From the Government House, we marched on to Beacon Hill Park!
And the Arbutus trees were looking especially photogenic this day!
Then on to the BC Legislature Buildings!
Where there was another rose garden!
This garden was not as far along as the previous ones. Well, of course, it's goverment roses, they get paid by the hour!
A significantly more manicured garden, I might add.
Hey, even the trash has class!
A look ahead to the Empress Hotel.
And a look back at the BC Government buildings.
After a lunch break, we continued on to find this: Fan Tan Alley, in Victoria's China town! ...then the long walk back to the hotel, total about 25km this day...
