This boat kept swinging back and forth on its anchor line, and the propeller kept getting quite close to the rocks!
Walking back near Granville Island, and the gardeners had done a good job this year, always nice to see a bit of orange.
Since I'm not too up on flower names, I'll just sit here and listen to you guys describing them.
I might toss in the odd contribution now and then, as I'm pretty sure these are roses.
And if the previous one was roses, then this one must be too!

For some reason, I think these are usually orange?
Another rose (I think), and a bit darker in colour.
Ok, I know it's not a rose, rhodo, azalea, camelia, or a tulip. That's my limit... I like the globe of small flowers.
Other than the deep purple colour, which is why I took this picture, I'm pretty sure it's not a rose, etc...
This droopy bunch makes for a better screen-full of colour...
