A Vancouver Island Interlude, continued.
Speaking of "Cathedral"... Here's the big tree from top to bottom.
The old trees with their moss, and droopy and broken branches.
I wanted to look at the "cathedral" aspect of the tree grove, and so these are looking pretty much straight up.
I suspect this would be a creepy, scary, tree at night under a full moon!
These trees were all near each other along the east edge of the grove.
And here is the eastern edge. The creek into Cameron Lake makes a natural transition zone.
What creek? Oh. That creek!
