A Port Alberni Visit.
So, after a trip through the jungle, it was off to...
...Off to... No peeking! Where is this?
Yup, Paper Mill Dam. I haven't been here in a loooooong time.
We used to bicycle to this park, then walk along these rocks to jump into the fast-moving water, and ride it downstream to the beach area.
But, hey! We were kids, and un-supervised... What could have happened?
Notice that the gravel under the concrete has been washed away.
Those are the stairs in the distance. The water can get much deeper here...
Finally, it's back at mom's, and the crocus blooms are out.
And that's my adventure with helping my mom in Port Alberni!
