Luau time!

This event was recommended by the travel agent, and it was expensive. Yuko wanted me to cancel it and get a refund...

Well, we went...

We (I) had no idea that we (I) probably should have dressed up a bit (a lot)...
The shirtless guys escorted each person/couple/group to their assigned seats, and chatted pleasantly with each for a few minutes, then introduced us to our server (another shirtless guy).
Our seats are at the front of the picture, those are my sunglasses on the table. The seating was to the left and right of the stage, as the center was used by the performers to access the stage.

Fortunately, I wasn't the only slob there...
When booking, I had to choose between "sitting at a table, or on the grass". I chose "table", but "grass" might have been better for pictures (closer).
We actually had pretty good seats, as once the show started, we had room to move our seats over for a more comfortable view.
This seating arrangement also allows them to set up only as many tables as there are guests...

...and the band played on... With Yuko in the background.

Yuko was happy that she, at least, had dressed nicely. Whew, that new beach-wear is paying off!

There were plenty of tourist activities here. Especially since there could be no doubt as to who were the tourists, and who weren't!

"We call these the 'Get out of bed, you lazy husband!' sticks, and this is how you use them!"

There were several Tiki poles about, and also smaller ones for sale. To me, Tiki always look like a whiney, bratty, kid who can't get his way...

The pork was roasting on the coals under the sand pile!
