200th day.
I was trying to get the red foliage in the same picture as the red kayak...
There were a lot of people out for a walk along the seawall.
This point marks the split point of a rising tide. We had to work against the tide so far, but around this point it will be going with us.
These two were out for a good workout. Those are expensive looking outrigger canoes...
The goal for the day: Siwash Rock!
We weren't the only ones there for a look!
We looped around Siwash Rock, which made for an interesting experience...
The wind had picked up, ~20 kph from the west, and she is paddling straight into it.
..and the sun is making visibilty difficult, as were the wind-blown waves...
..and the tide was pushing against us as well... You can see a wave washing over the back of the kayak.
It did get a bit bouncy, but that made the return trip more pleasant!
