Off to Whistler for the day.
The red colour is caused by micro-organisms that survive on the snow in the summer. It is not dust.
The distant mountains are relatively inaccessable, and also taller than Whistler and Blackcomb.
Small glaciers are still surviving on these mountains.
Some are still snow covered!
The best viewpoint would probably be from the air...
Which would also be a quicker way to see them all!
Soon it was time to head back. ...we had to walk, but the employees got to ride in an ATV!
...almost back, and I think she's a bit tired...
