Port Alberni & Whistler.
Another travel day, and then it was off to Whistler the next morning. ...it was nice to get away from the crowds of Vancouver...
We found a nice lunch spot, and enjoyed the cool beverages...

After lunch the search was on for a few fun things to do. ...not quite this much fun, we wanted to keep our lunches, too!
So the speeders took to the luge!
...while I bravely remained alone at the bottom, fighting the hordes of on-lookers for a good vantage point, and heroically daring to capture the action!
"...I could have gone faster..."
And the winner, and the time-lapse champion! John made it down so fast that he left 2 of him behind!
A popular distraction last year, too. This time they're both in the same tube!
...so far, so good! No bonked heads, and no fighting!
Suuure reminds me of a hamster ball!
Then it was off to the pool to cool down! ...not many kids in the kids pool...
I think that this was a continuation of the "Let's drown Dad" game...
