...looks like it spells "TOFINC". I guess now everything in this area is "Tofino" to the tourists. Remember when everything was "Long Beach"?
Long Beach certainly is. Comber's is just south of the Green Point campground, the rocks are behind me. (don't believe me? Turn around and take a look!)
There's Sea-Lion rocks. ...looks occupied, maybe by seals or something...
We continued north west towrds the Green Point rocks...

This Haematopus bachman was part of a nesting pair, unfortunately not on a protected nesting location, and easily startled by unsuspecting tourists.
Oh come on, it's a Black Oystercatcher! ...there are no oysters along this shore... Meanwhile Finn expands his silicate investigations to include a minor botanical interest in succulents...
