Fish and Boards.
We left bright and early, just about sun-rise.
And were soon set-up and in action!
Finn was determined to keep this one!
Looks good in the net!
And that's a keeper! It was also dinner!
A pod of orcas went by, some on either side of the boat. Trying to get their pictures was a test in reflexes! This big one decided to smack its head down to create a big spalsh!
And then kept right on going. They weren't all that close to the boat, the camera's zoom helps make them look close.
It is a game of patience...
Rewarded sometimes with a brief moment of intense action!
The fun was shared!
Literally, at times! They both had fish on the line at the same time! And it happened twice!
The relaxing ride back to Tofino. Unfortunately, the crab trap was full, but they were all undersize. So we couldn't invite any home for dinner.
