Boogie!

It's still morning, and since the tide was quite low, we went for an explore!

The local marine species were given a closer look...

And there were a lot of them to go around! The goose-neck barnacles were prolific!

Grandpa told the kids not to climb too far up on those nasty, dangerous, rocks... And then along comes Grandma, climbing even higher! ...such a bad example!

The early morning fog was taking a while to burn off, so a more thorough exploration of the rocks and tide pools was in order...

We even found a natural tunnel in the rocks! Normally it is out of reach, partly underwater!

And Gordie wins the beach-comber prize for 2017: a working GoPro!

After a quick lunch, I waited at the beach for the troops to return. ...the fog was burning off!

Ah! Here they come! All wetsuited up!

And with boogie boards! This should provide some excitement!
