Day 4: Sproat Lake II.
Since the boys were all being meanies, Taryn joined me in a walk to see the petroglyphs.
I took this picture of one of the creatures.
"No, no, no. Uncle Don, you're standing in the wrong place to get the best shadow detail. This is how you do it." Taryn took this with the older camera that I use in the kayak.
She took this one, too. And it was better than the one I took... Sniff... She is good at this, and is quite careful handling the camera.
Taryn with the "kayak camera", a Nikon 5300, with a 16mm - 80mm zoom lens. I wonder what she is taking a picture of?
Oh. She's taking a picture of a Nikon D500, with a (dusty) 18mm - 300mm zoom lens...
Further along the beach, near the play area we were in. No weeds here, and the water is very clear.
Krista returning from a petroglyph paddle. Another person who is getting more proficient every day.
Uh oh, looks like the battle has begun again! Who is Autumn targeting?
Ah! She picked the wrong targets, and they are planning their retribution!
Make way for "Two-Gun Gordie", scourge of the West!
"Them varmints can't hide from me!"
