Epic Paddling.

This is 5 days prior: "a Nikon?? Get a Canon!" ...that's what she said!

A rare selfie, from Wednesday!

Another rare selfie from Monday. I had pushed pretty hard, then the rain started...

An Epic surprise! This is 5 days ago (Saturday). It's not a surf ski. It's an Epic 18X Sport kayak, 18 ft long, 22" wide, 43 lbs. This is the fastest kayak on the market. Only the surf skis are faster.

Usually I get soaked from the waves...

It is, however, narrow! Too narrow for the big orange camera box!

Construction: a mix of fiberglass, foam core, kevlar, and carbon fiber, and it's lighter than the yellow kayak. The "expensive" version is all carbon fiber, and lighter still.

It is very sleek, and feels quite different while paddling. It doesn't feel like I'm pulling the boat through the water. It feels like I'm trying to keep up with the boat!

The white blends in with the yachts! Most of their kayaks and surf skis come in two versions: the heavier model with a black nose, and the lighter models with a red nose.

I want this one strictly for exercise, and will keep the blue one for playing on the beach, and for camera tours...
