Paddles & Motorcycles.

Canada Place and the Convention Center. Paddling all the way around Stanley Park and back is a good workout! The water is calmer on the grey days...

I was just heading out when this group was returning. They seemed to all know each other...

And they seemed to be fairly new to the sports, with this guy being the instructor / guide?

Orange is the new black! haha. Seriously, that orange colour is crazy popular this year, apparently. Oh yeah, always sit in the back, you can take breaks more easily...

On English Bay, seals, geese, swimmers, ferries, and rougher deeper water. 4th day, ~18.5 km, so far! Excellent progress! ...only a crazy person would be at 53 days and 520 km...

I heard the roar of the bikes coming down the side road, where there was a reception committee in front of the restaurant. "Graduation day?" "Sort of. Actually it's a retirement day!"

After carefully pulling up in a line, there was a coordinated dismount...

...and a growing audience...

While the bikes were left with the engines idling, providing a thunderous background noise, they all congratulated the shorter guy in the white shirt, and then posed for pictures.

Then, under the "No Engine Idling" and "No Stopping" signs, they made their coordinated exit!

All the while, ignoring the growing crowd.

And the obnoxious camera guy!

It was all done in about 3 minutes, according to the timestamps on the pictures. I thought they drove BMW's now, but the writing on these looked something like, "Hardly Division"...
