Getting warmer.

A nice 46 km cycle round trip to Deep Cove! Ok, maybe a bit much for my 2nd bike ride of the year. Took 85 minutes to get there, and 105 to return...

Oh look! Kayaks! I have the most amazing coincidence to report...

An Epic V6 !!! A bargain at $4,000 in fiberglass, and only $5,200 in carbon fiber. ...Epic makes Olympic competition kayaks...

It's demo day! All those long thin white kayaks are the same price... See the 2 kayaks on the left being kept off the beach? $6,200 each, special order only.

I bought my kayak from these guys. It's the slowest kayak they sell. ...they think I'd be much happier in this yellow and white one. Fiberlass-kevlar-carbon mix, for only $2,000! I resisted.

Behind the kayaks: Tulips! Deep Cove likes to keep up for the tourists. That's one reason I cycled. The cars were lined up 1 km down the road trying to get into the small community.

Being planted on a steep hill makes for a wall of colour.

And the tulips continued, now on Granville Island!

I tried to get the sunlight going through the petals. They look like they have light bulbs inside!

The blooms were nearing the end of their prime...

Oh, and the annuals wanted equal time... So here ya go, annuals. Do your stuff. Ya got the rest of the page all to yourself. Feel better now?

"Hey! This is my lawn! I do the pooping around here! Find your own lawn!"
