On the water.

Such a nice day! And would you look at all those under-utilized water craft sitting in the sun at Granville Island...

Well, let's put this one to good use, then! ...it's the little yellow one that's at the top of the stack in the above picture...

So, before I can begin to "keep up" with the nephews and relatives in their kayaks (there are 6 now, including mine), I need to sharpen these long-dormant kayak skills. This is Kits Beach...

Since I can't turn around in the kayak, I need to turn the kayak to change the camera view!
And the wind and the water always seem to have a better idea on which direction I should face!

Coming back from English Bay, and about to go under the Burrard Bridge. Can you spot the other little kayak?

The False Creek architecture looks pretty good from the water, too!

With all the little ferry boats about, finding calm and reflective water wasn't as easy as I'd hoped.

So here's my camera situation: I used this water-proof box to protect the camera, but there is limited space available inside the kayak...

The kayak point of view: under the seawall walkway bridge!

From my hiding spot, I can keep an eye on my enemy: those little ferry boats!
