Fishing Trip
The guide gutted the fish for us, and removed the legs and meat from the crab shells. The crab should be cooked as soon as possible for the best flavour.
Since the cooking smells were not wanted in the kitchen, and we couldn't use one of the regular pots on the BBQ, we got a cheap pot at Walmart. Four minutes boiling time.
After the first few were done, Yuko decided a taste test was in order. Then she wouldn't stop tasting and testing. And testing, and testing...
So we all decided to join in! Ouch, that's hot!
No lemon, no added anything. And soon 5 of the 6 crabs were gone!
Oh look, they have these cool built-in tooth picks!
Our dinner was crab meat. Only crab meat. Very, very tasty dungeoness crab meat. As much as we could eat! The left-overs? They became a delicious chip dip!
