I took a short trip up the hiway towards Squamish this morning, and found this:
Apparently when VANOC says "We need 3 lanes", BC Highways jumps!
How's this for political clout? So what do you do when VANOC says "3 lanes", and there isn't enough
hiway shoulder like in the first picture? Well, BC Rail isn't using this line ALL day are they (actually 2x a day)?
Yup, they paved the active railtracks, and diverted vehicle traffic onto them. Hey, BC Highways, which part of "3 lanes"
are you having trouble understanding? This is at Porteau Cove.
Back in town: Now THAT'S an Inukshuk!
Hmmm.... what's with all these classy looking non-mountain bicycles???
